From storage to the best room in the house.

A finished basement is a family room, an office, a guest suite or a gym. Here's what it takes.

  • Moisture handled first. Slab and walls checked and sealed.
  • Insulated and framed. Warm walls, a flat floor.
  • Lights and outlets. By a licensed electrician, permitted.
  • Drywall and paint. No more bare joists overhead.
  • Floors you can live on. Made for basements.
Lights: on

    Questions people ask first.

Do I need a permit to finish my basement?

Usually, yes, when the work adds walls, a bedroom, wiring or plumbing. We get the permit and schedule the inspections, so you don't have to.

Can a basement room count as a bedroom?

Only with an escape window big enough to climb out of and enough ceiling height. We check both on the first visit and tell you plainly if a room can't qualify. What makes it legal.

What if my basement gets damp?

We look for water before anything gets covered up. If there's a moisture problem, we show you and deal with it first. We never build a wall over a wet one. Keeping a basement dry.

Who does the plumbing and electrical?

Licensed plumbers and electricians, with permits. We schedule them and they work under our contract, so you still have one company to call.
